Tony is an actor and has been in the industry for over 15 years. He made the big move to Los Angeles California a few years ago and has not stopped. He has done very well for himself working, auditioning and building a very impressive resume.

Tony is has landed roles in How I Met Your Mother (2013), starring Neil Patrick Harris,  the feature film Spring Breakers (2012), that starred James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, Robo-Dog (2015), as the role of Jerome that was filmed right here in Central Florida and most recently in the comedy The Best Thanksgiving Ever (2016).

His other industry credits include All State Insurance, Wendys, Universal Studios, Hungry Howies, Honda, Aflac, a Disney pilot titled Growing Up and Down starring Raina Rodrigues from Austin and Ally to name a few.

Tony Robinette lands role on ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat

Exciting news for Maile School Acting & Advanced Acting graduate Tony Robinette. He landed a role on the ABC comedy hit show Fresh Off The Boat.
Tony was happy to share his good news and said,  “I just booked an awesome funny co star on a prime time TV show that’s has been on my target list for 3 seasons. Whoop Whoop!”
We are so proud to help spread the word on Tony.

It’s the ’90s and 12 year old, hip-hop loving Eddie (Hudson Yang) just moved to suburban Orlando from DC’s Chinatown with his parents (Randall Park and Constance Wu). It’s culture shock for his immigrant family in this comedy about pursuing the American Dream.

Fresh Off the Boat stars Randall Park as Louis, Constance Wu as Jessica, Hudson Yang as Eddie, Forrest Wheeler as Emery and Ian Chen as Evan.
Fresh Off The Boat is based on Chef Eddie Huang’s memoir Fresh Off the Boat and airs on Tuesdays nights at 9pm on ABC.

Tony Robinette Lands National Aflac Commercial

Congrats to Maile School acting graduate Tony Robinette for booking a SAG National Commercial with Aflac.  The commercial titled “Rehearsal” first aired on ABC during the college football game between University of Georgia and Clemson. In “Rehearsal”, the Duck is giving it his all but just can’t get the delivery right.  Tony plays the speech coach for the iconic spokesduck.

Following its debut, “Rehearsal” has been airing on all major national networks, cable networks and local television stations across the country.

Tony has been performing professionally since he was 16 years old and has found much success in the entertainment industry. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2001. Tony is a graduate of The Maile School’s basic and advanced level courses. His credits include a guest role on the CBS popular series “How I Met Your Mother” and a role in the feature film “Spring Breakers”.  Some of his other commercial booking credits include, Nokia, ESPN, Captain Morgan, HGTV, Hungry Howie’s Pizza, Florida Lottery, Brighthouse, Checkers, Holler Chevrolet, Heyneedle Furniture, Winn Dixie, Champs Sporting Goods, Disney.
