Shellita Boxie of SMB Entertainment

Shellita Boxie of SMB Entertainment has been a part of the Maile School for over 12 years. Both as a student and an instructor in the Image, Modeling & On Camera Acting programs. She considers herself a peer trainer who brings “The Set Experience” to the classroom.

She has been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years working in Commercials, Films, Print, Television, Theater, Stunts, and Independent Film Castings.

Some of her impressive work include Disney, SeaWorld, Ford, Universal Studios, Shots Fired, Baby Driver, Captain America: Civil War, Ballers, Walking Dead, Selma, and Hunger Games: Mockingjay.

She also had the opportunity to work on Tyler Perry’s films such as Madeas Big Happy Family and The Family That Preys. Shellita is a Member of the Screen Actor Guild and a 2 time Nomination for Best Stunt Ensemble. (Walking Dead and Captain America: Civil War)
She is an Orlando Mentor and was recognized as Mentor of the year on 2016.
She is also a volunteer for the SAG Foundation as a BookPal Reader and a personal trainer to some of Orlando’s most talented actors. Shellita tells her clients, “Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready… Spiritually, Mentally and Physically. CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S PARAMOUR ON BROADWAY

Congrats to The Maile School acting grad Sarah Meahl. She now can be seen as Gina in Cirque du Soleil’s Broadway extravaganza Paramour as well as an understudy for Indigo.

Born and raised in Orlando, Sarah wanted to perform and studied acting, dancing and trained as a gymnast. She spent most of her time the traveling the East Coast with her dance team, winning national titles and awards.

On the acting side she booked a variety of work that included commercials, TV episodes, industrials, and advertisements. Some of her credits include Disney Cruise Line, MGM Studios, and Courts TV Haunting Evidence: The Natalee Holloway Story as the starring role as Natalee Holloway as well as many theater productions.

Sarah went to Bishop Moore High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Theatre Arts in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance in 2012.

Sarah has traveled the country performing in musicals at different theaters. She judges dance competitions for multiple corporations, and teaches dance and gymnastics at many studios in New York City.

Sarah also models for sculptors and artists. She also performed in the 2016 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in which Sarah says was a happy moment for her.

Sarah is in Disney’s Royals as Cinderella. It is about Cinderella throwing a ball with all of her Royal friends that quickly becomes hijacked by Disney Villains. The song Royals by Lorde becomes the Anthem by which the Villains take back their power. Her other theater productions include The Little Mermaid, Can Can, and Nunsense to name a few.

Maile School Star Talent Greg Davis Jr.

Maile School acting graduate Greg Davis Jr. was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He attended the on camera acting program here at The Maile School and began working immediately after finishing. He booked work on set at Nickelodeon’s popular show Gullah Gullah Island. Greg graduated from Dr. Phillips High School but a week before his graduation he almost died in an attempted carjacking. Since then he cites in faith in Jesus Christ to be the most important thing in his life.

Greg who now lives in Los Angeles and does quite a bit of traveling for roles has built quite an impressive resume. He played the role of music executive LA Reid in Lifetime’s TV movie titled Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart, the feature film Beyond The Lights as Officer Aforo, the TV show Espionage as Sebastian Young, Joseph in the film King of California that starred Michael Douglas, as well as a comedy improvisation series on the TBS television network titled 10 Items or Less to name a few.

Greg’s newest film is titled The Eyes and he is playing the role of Robby. The Eyes is about 6 strangers who are kidnapped and through governmental technology have proof they have all killed before and are told 5 will die this night, one may walk, and the six have 2 hours to decide who gets to live. The Eyes star Nicholas Turturro, Vincent Pastore, Megan West . The Eyes will be out this April.

Greg who also goes by the name Klarity has worked with the popular funny man comedian Kevin Hart on promotional videos.

Greg’s mom Carol Davis is also a Maile School acting and advanced acting graduate.

MEET MAILE SCHOOL GRADUATE

ADELE SPAGNOLO

Maile School Image, Modeling & Acting Graduate Adele Spagnolo is an aspiring actor and model.

She started her career in 2011 at the age of 11 years when her mom Patty enrolled her in the Image and Confidence Development program because Adele wanted to try modeling. Her mom thought the Image program would be the best one to start with to help build her confidence and communication skills. Upon completion she continued on into the Teen Modeling Program here at our school as well as the Summer Fashion Camp held at The Mall at Millenia and then on the different levels of acting programs here at The Maile School.

Some of her industry bookings include work for Bloomingdales, Macys, JCP, Orlando Science Center, Styles for Less, Rue 21, Francesca’s Closet, Buckle, Clinique, Urban Decay cosmetics and Mall at Millenia.

Adele is now 17 years old, in 11^th grade and is home schooled. She plans to graduate 6 months early. She enjoys fashion, make up artistry, special effects make up, knitting, and sewing. Adele says, “I really wanted to be a model but after taking the various acting programs I found a love for acting but I will do it all”.

The Maile School was so impressed with Adele and asked her to apply for our Internship Program for volunteer hours. Of course we hired her and now 3 years later she is still part of the team.

Adele wants to stay involved and in this business booking jobs and plans to attend Joe Blasco Makeup Center. After that she plans to go to the University of Central Florida and study Business. With her Business degree and wants to open up her own salon. Adele is the daughter of Patty and Rosario from Maitland.

China Taylor dancing with Lady GaGa at the Super Bowl this Sunday

Are you going to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday? Even if you are not a fan of the game then just watch the half time show and be sure to look for The Maile School acting grad China Taylor. She is one of the dancers performing with Lady Gaga and will be front and center.

China booked her first World Tour at the age of 17 years old. If she looks familiar you may have seen her dance on a few episodes of Glee as well as Mad Men and SuperStore. Last month, she also performed with Lady Gaga at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show live on TV.

China, who is now 20 has been dancing for many years and is one of the original dancers from WilldaBeast Adams immaBeast Dance Crew and has been featured in live shows and music videos with pop stars such as Beyonce, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Jason Derulo, the group duo Karmin, and Zendaya from the Disney channel. China has performed and danced with artist on music shows such as the VMA’s, AMA’s, MTV, American Idol, and X-Factor.

She is a local girl and attended acting classes here at The Maile Image, Modeling & Acting School in Winter Park and went to Bear Lake Elementary, Teague Middle and Lake Brantley High School.

Her mom, Tijon Robinson, says, “The curriculum at the Maile School provides an outlet and invitation for communication and expression with peers. What we feel comfortable verbalizing, we can pursue.”

At the age 15, China moved to Los Angeles to peruse her dreams of dancing and performing.

Well…. Her dreams came true and we could not be happier for her.

We can’t wait to see China perform with Lady GaGa this Sunday, February 5, 2017 during the half time show at Super Bowl LI.

Lifestyle Model: Deborah Agoos

Deborah Agoos has been a Lifestyle Model and Actor for 20 years and has found much success in the business. One of her first jobs in the industry was working as a model for the Home Shopping Network which is based and filmed out of St. Petersburg. Some of her many shows include segments for fashion, exercise, hair and make-up. She still lands work and appears on the network on a regular basis.

Deborah has such a pretty, upscale and marketable look she is in demand for a variety of jobs. Some of her industry print and videos include work for clients such as Avis / Budget National Campaign, AAA National Campaign, Disney World Cruises, Hyatt Hotels, Golden Oak, Sun City Center, Solovita Communities, Orlando Leisure magazine, Raymond James Financial and Florida Hospital. She also is a runway model and has booked runway modeling shows at malls around the state.

She became acquainted with The Maile School when she sent her daughter Doria to several classes here as a teenager. Doria had a beautiful and unique look and upon graduating from the programs she went on to become an international model. Deborah says, “Due to the excellent training and encouragement from The Maile School her career took off.”

Deborah also worked at the school as an Admissions Counselor for a short time. She had firsthand experience seeing all the success stories with The Maile School students and grads achieving their goals in the industry due to the training they received.

Deborah feels very fortunate to still be working in the industry and has upcoming bookings for a hospital and insurance group.

In her leisure time, she’s an avid reader, exerciser, and enjoys traveling with her husband.

Jackson from Fuller House

Did you know Michael Campion attended acting classes at The Maile School?

Kids acting grad Michael Campion plays to role of Jackson, (DJ’s oldest son) on the popular Netflix series Fuller House starring Candace Cameron Bure. We are so happy that Fuller House was picked up for Season 2 and premiered this past December.

His path to land the role of Jackson was detailed. First, he sent a video audition to LA since he lives in Orlando. He didn’t know what he was auditioning for and they would use code names. After sending in a video once a week for 5 weeks they finally flew him to LA and he was then told it was for Fuller House.

Michael says, “I was a huge Full House fan and cried when I was told I booked the role. It was a magical experience and the next day I started filming.”

Michael’s other industry credits include Finding Eden (2017), Christmas Trade (2015), with Billy Baldwin (aka William Baldwin), Tom Arnold and Denise Richards. He also starred in the feature films, Robo-Dog (2015) that was filmed right here in Central Florida and also starred other Maile School grads as well as Robo-Dog: Airborne (2017). He has been featured in many local and national commercials. Michael enjoys live theater productions and has performed lead roles with Magic Curtain Productions in “The Wizard of Oz”, “Annie” and “The Little Mermaid”, just to name a few.

Michael is 14 years old and lives is Florida with his parents. When he isn’t auditioning or working on set he enjoys Star Wars movies, building his own computer and playing video games.

STAR TALENT: DEBBIE SEIBER

Charismatic, funny and energetic is what you will find when meeting Debbie Seiber. She is a native to the Orlando area, growing up in the little town of Windermere and graduated from West Orange High School. Her love for acting started at an early age, where throughout the years, she did small acting jobs here and there. Debbie ventured into the business world, but never lost her dream for becoming a full time actress one day.

In 2006, Debbie decided to enroll in the adult acting on camera acting and advanced improv programs here at The Maile Image, Modeling & Acting School. Debbie says, “That foundation started my journey, and it was the best experience for preparing me for the acting world.”

Debbie recently was cast as, Pastor Hutchins, in an edgy faith-based film shot here in Central Florida titled the Turnaround. The Turnaround also featured other Maile School acting graduates.

She studied at IFREC School of Real Estate and is a realtor at Keller Williams Realtor, Inc. This allows her to have a flexible schedule and she is able to free herself for auditions and bookings. She loves selling real estate and helping others achieve the home ownership dream. She was voted as one of the top 2% of realtors in customer service and satisfaction in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Her professional talents include marketing, business and management, as well as training.

Debbie says, “DREAM and DREAM BIG. Nothing is impossible when you start taking steps toward your dreams.”

We are so happy for Debbie and wish her continued industry success in 2017.

Maile School Corinna Giordan is a busy bee!

Maile School’s kids acting grad Corinna Giordan is 11 years old but her modeling & acting career stared at the of 3 in New York. She attended Page Private School here in Orlando and worked during the summers in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Her first modeling jobs were for Joe Fresh, Tommy Hilfiger (alongside Peyton List who is on Punk’d and was on Jessie), Toys R Us, JC Penney and Parents Magazine all done in New York City.

She then started modeling in Miami Beach with the Green Agency. She is currently represented by Cathy & Company in Miami whom she booked most of the jobs through. In Orlando, she is represented by Clark Talent, Azuree and CFT Agency.

Corinna’s other modeling jobs and impressive resume credits include Carter’s, Target, H & M, Walmart, Toys R Us, Weston Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Disney World, Publix, The Children’s Place, Next Direct, PNC Bank, Parenting Magazine, Space Coast Tourism, Orlando Tourism and Scholastic.

She has also been in numerous TV commercials with top clients such as Winn Dixie, Zurich Insurance, Disneys’ Club Penguin, Magic Tap, Oodle Brites, Happy Toezy Friends, Nickelodeon Floam, Style Brite, Lammily, Hoodie Pets, Dreamy Time Turtle, Canadian Tire, St. Pete/Clearwater Tourism and National Geographic Kids. We are excited to say that recently, she booked a 3 day Sea World commercial.

Corinna is an active little girl playing with neighborhood friends and enjoys Nerf, Legos and Littlest Pet Shops. Mom, Sook says, “The creative industry has positively influenced her and she started her own production line called CoriShae Productions and continuously posts her own creative animations with kid-themed story lines.”

Corrina attended the kids on camera acting program for ages 7 to 10 year olds here at The Maile School. We are so excited for Corinna and all of her industry success!
